Allison Park Summer Series | June 25th & 26th

Allison Park

A Weekend of Fun in Warroad!

Allison Park Summer Series is a NEW two-day event that will take place every second and fourth weekend in the summer months starting on June 25th and 26th.  Each designated weekend will feature a unique theme, with the first series giving a nod to our hockey heritage, aka Hockeytown USA®.  All are encouraged to wear a jersey!

On these Friday evenings, community members can take part in a fundraiser meal to help support future events at Allison Park through free-will donation. Guests can enjoy the meal while they watch local performers and live music on the amphitheater stage, followed by an outdoor movie under the stars! The following day, you can shop at Market in the Park (formerly Warroad Market), which features goods from local artisans, crafters, bakers, and other vendors, along with various food options. The on-site playground and splash pad are always open for kids and families to enjoy.

Mark your calendars for these fun-filled dates:

  • June 25 – 26 Hockeytown USA Theme
  • July 9 – 10 Take Me Out to the Ballgame Theme
  • July 23 – 24 Christmas in July Theme
  • August 13 – 14 Asian Pride / Yellow Rose Events
  • August 27 – 28 Summer Wrap-Up

Lake of the Woods Fishing Report | June 10, 2021

The Woods Goods reports “It was another great week for fishing! On the south shore, most anglers are fishing on top of, or around, structure anywhere from 10-18′. In the morning, as well as in the evening, anglers are using jigs and frozen shiners. Look to move out to the mud for the mid-day bite. (Pulling spinners with crawlers/leeches.) Moving around while using electronics to find big schools of fish traveling through the mud has seemed to be the ticket. There have been many trophy fish caught already this year. So far it’s shaping up to be another great summer of fishing!”
