The Roseau County Historical Society was organized in April 1927 with the intent of collecting, preserving and disseminating the history of Roseau County, Minnesota. The Roseau County Historical & Museum is located in the Roseau City Center. The museum displays artifacts tell the story of Roseau County’s past, along with other unique artifacts.
Seven Clans Casino is located on the outskirts of Warroad. It is tucked back from highway 11 along a winding road that leads to the casino located on Lake of the Woods. Seven Clans Warroad has been a fixture along Lake of the Woods in Northern Minnesota for nearly 31 years. In September 2014 we opened a brand new property featuring a modern design, over 580 gaming machines with live blackjack and poker and a 60 room hotel. Marker location: Lake Street and Hwy 11. One miles east of this point just north of the mouth of the Warroad River stood a post of the American Fur Company built around 1820. The French explorer La Vérendrye and his party probably visited this region in 1732 en route to build Fort St. Charles in the present Northwest Angle.
The Warroad Historical Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to collecting, preserving and displaying the rich history of Warroad. Exhibits and events are held in the Warroad Heritage Center, which provides an opportunity for cultural development and awareness of the local history for people of all ages. It contains regional exhibits of Ojibwa artifacts, a history of local industry, works by area writers and artists, genealogies and old photographs. The Warroad Heritage Center is housed in the Warroad Public Library building, 201 Main Ave. NE Warroad, MN.

Directions to Shooting Range  WLRSC is a non profit, volunteer organization dedicated to providing a safe, family friendly facility for members and guests to enjoy the shooting sports. Newly developed outdoor shooting range open to the public. Directions from Warroad: West on Hwy 11 to County Road 137 (530th Av.), then north to 380th St. Turn left and travel west for 1 3/4 miles to Complex entrance on north side of road.

Three miles of white sand beach and ocean-like waves offer a variety of water recreation opportunities. A stone jetty provides a channel for safe access to the lake. This secluded park gives visitors a chance to see a variety of Minnesota wildlife. Loons, moose, beaver, fisher, otter, lynx, black bear and wolves live in the area. Swimming lessons are offered in the summer and open swim, adult and senior swim times are allocated throughout the year. This pool was donated to the town of Warroad by William S. Marvin and dedicated December 1992.
