Snowshoe Excursion

Start with a history exploring the history of snowshoeing and winter in the fur trade by following the story of Dr. John Rae and the Franklin expedition. We will also examine the different styles and designs of snowshoes used by native peoples and followed by a half-mile guided snowshoe tour.
Snowshoes provided—ages: 6 and up.
This program is entirely outdoors. Dress for the weather (layers recommended)—approximately hour-long tour.
Tours start at the top of every hour, 10-4 pm.
