And The Winners Are…

This past weekend, anglers from near and far gathered on the frozen waters of Lake of the Woods for the annual Springsteel Resort & Warroad Chamber of Commerce Fishing Derby. Held every year on the third Saturday in February, this much-anticipated event brought together fishing enthusiasts of all skill levels to compete for over $30,000 in prizes—and the excitement did not disappoint!

With tickets priced at just $20 per person, the derby offered not only a thrilling day of fishing but also a chance to win big. Participants braved the crisp winter air, drilling holes and setting lines in hopes of reeling in the biggest catch of the day.

A huge thank you to Springsteel Resort, Warroad Chamber of Commerce, and all the volunteers and sponsors who made this event possible. We can’t wait to do it all over again next year!
