A mix of bait fishing using gold and pink spinners tipped with minnows and crawlers while drifting as well as trolling with shad raps have been the best approach this week. We expect this to be the best technique for the next month or so until the water starts to cool and the fish start coming in shallower. The best depth right now has been 26’-32’ of water near Garden Island and Little Oak Island. Don’t let summer pass you by, make some time to get out on the water!
