Springsteel Resort reports “The bite has been a little spotty this last week with a lot of fish being marked but not always biting. You also have to sort through some smaller fish. The best depths seem to be in that 23 to 26 feet. As for colors, that changes daily but if you have gold and a few different colors of glow you will be fine. Don’t be afraid to put down a plain hook from time to time either. It’s the time of year where electronics and persistence pays off.
