Seven Clans Casino is located on the outskirts of Warroad. It is tucked back from highway 11 along a winding road that leads to the casino located on Lake of the Woods. Seven Clans Warroad has been a fixture along Lake of the Woods in Northern Minnesota for nearly 31 years. In September 2014 we opened a brand new property featuring a modern design, over 580 gaming machines with live blackjack and poker and a 60 room hotel. Our hotel features a home away from home feel so you can relax in comfort after winning big on the casino floor! Doc’s Harbor Inn is a Historical vacation rental property built in 1914 on the banks of the Warroad River. It is an elegant old home that offers great river views and a unique stay in Warroad, MN. NEW: Fully furnished rentals at Warroad Estates Golf Course. Call and inquire about their “STAY & PLAY” packages! This 18-hole championship layout with a Par 72 – 6942 yard design features four sets of tees and offers plenty of hazards (water and sand) to test the more experienced golfer while still giving the beginner a fair chance. The golf course is open to the public and has a relaxed atmosphere that will make anyone feel welcomed. Marker location: Lake Street and Hwy 11. One miles east of this point just north of the mouth of the Warroad River stood a post of the American Fur Company built around 1820. The French explorer La Vérendrye and his party probably visited this region in 1732 en route to build Fort St. Charles in the present Northwest Angle.
