At Marvin, we’re driven by this purpose: to imagine and create better ways of living.  As people spend more time indoors, we recognize that our work isn’t just about building better windows and doors – it’s about opening new possibilities for how people live, work, think and feel inside a Marvin space.  Since the day we opened our doors in 1912 as a family-owned and operated cedar and lumber company, we’ve looked for ways to help people live better. We continue to evolve by raising the bar, building quality, beauty and simplicity into people’s everyday lives.  The Warroad location is special to the company. It is home to the Marvin headquarters and our original manufacturing plant spanning 2m square feet of manufacturing space, as well as the Marvin Home Center, Marvin Visitor Center, and R&D Facility.  Marvin employs almost 2,000 in Warroad, and we are proud to call Warroad our long-term home and headquarters location.

Warroad Area Women of Today is a chapter of the Minnesota Women of Today whose shared goal is “to make the world a better place because we lived and served within it.” Through service projects, leadership opportunities, and personal growth experiences, our members strive to make a positive impact in our communities and in our lives.

Corner of Elk St. and Hwy 11.  This beautiful memorial commemorates our United States Armed Forces. The memorial was dedicated in May 2004.

Since 1919, the Warroad American Legion has been committed to strengthening our community and America. Our post leads and participates in patriotic holidays and ceremonies, supports several local organizations through charitable gaming, offers services to veterans, and runs a bar and restaurant — the town’s only steakhouse. Just 27 miles southwest of Warroad. Follow Hwy 11 west to Co Rd 9, then south on to County Rd 4.  Park Permits: $35 annual, $7 daily.  Open year round for daily use. Regular camping season: May – Sept.  The central focus of the park is the lake and the north fork of the Roseau River. Here there is an abrupt transition from farmland to wilderness. This secluded park gives visitors a chance to see a variety of Minnesota wildlife. Loons, moose, beaver, fisher, otter, lynx, black bear and wolves live in the area. Enjoy rustic campgrounds, swimming, fishing, and boating. 13 miles of hiking trails, cross-country ski trails, groomed snowmobile trails. Canoe and kayak rentals: half-day and full day.

The Hawk has delicious, casual dining.  We boast the casual side of fine dining.  We create delicious plates you won’t find anywhere else.  We host big events from fundraisers to weddings in our Hawk’s Nest.  We also have RV hook-ups to get you closer to Lake of the Woods, but bring you back to a good meal at the end of the day.

Located at the Middle School on Cedar Ave., the indoor pool offers Olympic-size lanes, locker rooms, showers, bleacher seating, diving boards, sauna, and whirlpool. Swimming lessons are offered in the summer and open swim, adult and senior swim times are allocated throughout the year. This pool was donated to the town of Warroad by William S. Marvin and dedicated December 1992.

Beste’s Sandy Pine’s Campground is a wilderness campground located in the forests of northern Minnesota just 2 miles west and 1 mile south of Warroad on Hwy 11. Turn south on 570th Av. (Co. Rd 45) and follow the signs to Beste’s Sandy Pine’s Campground. Full RV hookups in the summer.  We will provide high quality customer service and a safe, scenic, friendly destination for guests to come and enjoy the beauty of nature and the fun of outdoor sport and recreation.
