The New Deal in Minnesota The 1930’s were interesting times in our nation’s history. The creation and roll-out of sweeping economic programs, in response to the Great Depression had just taken place. There was great hope and expectations in the country. Explore some of the legacy footprints that remain in Minnesota from these programs, such as the WPA, PWA, CCC, NYA and the VCC. 6pm May 2nd.
